SITUATION AND MISSION:
At 2009 hours, Apex 2 reported the downing of a Skell Transport cargo aircraft by an enemy LEGION drone swarm over CHANNELS airspace. Intel confirms the aircraft was en route from Restricted Area 01, carrying top-secret research materials. The crash site is confirmed southwest of Long Island, with the majority of the cargo lost to the ocean depths. However, aerial assets have located one container washed ashore on West Cape. Analysts believe this container might hold an advanced targeting module for UAVs, which we must recover before the enemy gets their hands on it. In a related development, two Skell Tech field engineers have been captured and are currently detained at a fuel depot and a fortified outpost nearby. SIGINT suggests that the enemy might be planning to negotiate a prisoner exchange, as two of their lieutenants are currently detained at the Liberty facility. Finally, we have the opportunity to capture the enemy logistics expert who has surfaced at the port. Capturing him could potentially unravel their entire trafficking network, making him our top priority after the rescue mission.
CONCEPT OF OPERATION:
QRF MOONSHINE will deploy from SOUTH CAPE STATION at 2100 hours and reach the LZ southeast of Alpha. We will use light black kits for covert operation and speed. The team will proceed on foot to all OBJs. (edited)
